How to improve Clarity speed on a slow computer?

When running Clarity on a very slow PC or laptop, we can recommend some tips which can improve the speed of Clarity in certain situations:
1) Set the appropriate threshold.
2) Set the appropriate frequency of data acquisition.
3) Turn off the unused tables in Clarity (Performance, SST).
4) Turn off the Overlay function during the Sequence.
5) Turn off the PostRun Printing.
6) In your antivirus SW, turn off the option "Check Files at Change", especially for files used by Clarity (*.raw and *.audit).

The minimum Clarity's hardware requirements can be found on the Compatibility page. Often it is very helpful to increase the memory in the PC (RAM) rather than improve processor (CPU) speed.
